Life Enrichment Manager
Christina Rochette joined the team at Fairvern as the Life Enrichment Manager on Monday March 3rd. Christina also holds this position at the Pines and will be leading the departments in both District of Muskoka homes. She has 35 years of experience having held various roles over those many years such as Activity Aide, Volunteer Co-Ordinator, Program Co-Ordinator, Aquatic Supervisor, CARF Accreditation Lead and Activities Manager. She is an active member of the District Staff IDEA Committee to bring awareness and change ideas around inclusion, diversity, equity and anti-racism in the workplace.
Christina is passionate about providing meaningful, engaging activities for all Residents in Long Term Care. Her goal is to ensure that residents have opportunities to connect, stay active and find joy in their daily experiences.

24. Every resident has the right not to be restrained, except in the limited circumstances provided for under this Act and subject to the requirements provided for under this Act.
25. Every resident has the right to be provided with care and services based on a palliative care philosophy.
26. Every resident who is dying or who is very ill has the right to have family and friends present 24 hours per day.
1st Annual Indoor Snowball Fight
A lot of fun was had with our indoor snowball fight that was held at the end of February.
