Multi-Year Accessibility Plan

This is an exciting time for improvements to accessibilty at the District, where more improvements will be introduced and barriers to accessibility removed. As improvements are made, solutions will be sought for problems that persons with disabilities living or visiting Muskoka continue to face, and the District will continue to see feedback from our community to constantly improve. Staff have already received some great feedback from the community which has helped develop the Plan.

Stay tuned for our survey launching in early August.

First-hand experiences and ideas for improvement from our community will play an important role in developing and improving our Accessibility Plan. This information will help inform gaps and barriers that currently exist while becoming better equipped to reduce or eliminate future barriers in our communities.

Everyone is invited to participate in this survey to help us know what is needed to make the District more accessible. It’s important we hear from our community about their experiences, so we can use this information to provide equal access to all.
