Share Mode of Transmission & Breaking the Chain of Infection on Facebook Share Mode of Transmission & Breaking the Chain of Infection on Twitter Share Mode of Transmission & Breaking the Chain of Infection on Linkedin Email Mode of Transmission & Breaking the Chain of Infection linkRespiratory etiquette is a simple yet effective way to prevent illness, and is comprised of a few easy steps: Cover your cough and sneeze. Turn your head away from others and cover your mouth and nose with a tissue. If you don't have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve or elbow, not your hands. After you cough or sneeze, ensure that you sanitize your hands to break the chain of infection.
