The Pines Resident & Family Portal

In collaboration with Public Health, the Cedar home area has declared a Respiratory Outbreak as of March 1, 2023. Five (5) residents with respiratory symptoms (cough, sore throat, lethargy, etc.) noted today. Resident testing is underway. We will provide updates as soon as they are available.

In collaboration with Public Health, the Oak home area has declared an enteric outbreak as of March 1, 2023. A few residents with enteric symptoms were noted over the course of the last 3 days and the home connected with Public Health on February 28, 2023. We will provide updates as soon as they are available.

In collaboration with Public Health, the Maple COVID and Respiratory Outbreak has been declared over as of January 19, 2023. General visitors are now able to enter the home area.

The Maple Home Area remains in Covid -19 Outbreak and Unknown Respiratory Outbreak at this time.

Currently, there are three (3) isolated Covid Positive residents.

Enhanced Infection Control Measures at this time include:

• No general visitors to Maple Home Area at this time. Two (2)Essential Caregivers at a time.
• Increased Personal Protective Equipment audits and hand hygiene audits
• Twice daily symptom screening on Maple unit
• Staff cohorting where possible
• Mandatory N95 masks and eye protection at all times on Maple
• Eye protection and surgical masks on Birch
• Twice daily cleaning of high-touch surfaces.
• NEW-When leaving Maple, please change your N95 masks to surgical masks.
• NEW-Disinfecting station for your goggles outside of Maple
