    In collaboration with Public Health, the Respiratory outbreak has been upgraded to include the entire home at this time. We continue to have enteric outbreak on Oak as well as COVID-19 Outbreaks on Cedar, Oak, and Maple. Family members of those affected residents have been notified and an update will come later today.

    No General Visitors to the Entire Home at this time. Essential Caregivers may visit to a maximum of two (2) at a time.

    Oak remains in Enteric (symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea) and COVID-19 Outbreaks. Cedar has a Respiratory (symptoms such as cough, hoarse voice, sore throat and lethargy) and COVID-19. The Cedar Enteric outbreak has been declared over at this time, March 9, 2023. Maple remains in a COVID-19 Outbreak. Family members of those affected residents have been notified. We will continue to provide updated as we work through the outbreaks. Masks must remain on in the resident's rooms at this time and N95 masks and eye protection are highly recommended on the affected home areas.

    No General Visitors to Cedar, Oak and Maple Home Areas at this time. Essential Caregivers may visit to a maximum of two (2) at a time.

    Oak Home Area: Currently six (6) residents isolated with enteric symptoms and three (3) residents with COVID-19 symptoms.

    Cedar Home Area: Currently twelve (12) residents isolated with respiratory symptoms and three (3) residents with COVID-19 symptoms.

    Maple Home Area: Currently two (2) residents isolated with COVID-19 symptoms.

    Enhanced Infection Control Measures on Oak, Cedar and Maple include:

    • Increased hand hygiene for staff and residents prior to meals
    • Increased cleaning on affected units by housekeeping
    • Increased PPE audits and hand hygiene audits
    • Twice daily symptom screening
    • Staff cohorting where possible
    • All individuals are to be masked through the home in common areas.
    • Mandatory N95 masks and Eye protection at all times on Cedar, Oak and Maple.
    • Residents on affected areas to avoid group activities.
